Turn-Key Business Package

Not for the faint of heart, a micro business combines three license categories under one house. This makes sense when those three licenses work together to create a vertically integrated business, such as a cultivator who manufactures their cannabis into product and distributes it. However, there are limitations of the scale and capability of each business type, so it is very important to have a vetted business model before beginning, as well as an understanding of growth limitations.

Package Price: $7,500

$2,000 deposit required, subsequent payments required upon completion of milestones.

Package will include most but not all of the following services, dependant on which three licenses are chosen for the business model:

Milestone 1 – Research & Conception

  • Research and Report of competition, demographics and metrics of the chosen business model
  • Assistance with conception of brand and identity by our design team, if applicable
  • Entity formation, tax ID registration, insurance application
  • Projections, CVP’s & ProForma of first three years
  • Initial inspection of proposed property and outstanding permits
  • Inspection of license application by proposed locations’s city/counties
  • Initial meeting with city/county to ask/answer questions/concerns

Milestone 2 – Application Preparation

  • Security/fire specialists referrals if required by application
  • Mechanical Engineer referral if required by application
  • Interior designer referral if desired by client
  • Recommendations of property modifications to meet compliance regulations
  • Referrals and initiation of all compliant transportation, property, business and liability insurances, according to city and state requirements of all areas serviced
  • Assistance with implementation of security/fire requirements
  • Creation of site plan with application-specific notations
  • Authoring of license application
  • Composition of live scans, proof of income, application fees

Milestone 3 – Application Submission

  • Final review of application against HDL requirements
  • Submission of application to city/county with all required ancilary documents
  • Assistance with any required follow-up meetings/interviews with city/county
  • Amendments of application, should it not initially be accepted, and resubmission

Milestone 4 – Build Out

  • Communication assistance between client, designer, contractors and specialists
  • Day-to-day updates and feedback during construction
  • Creation of all required Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and other protocols
  • Creation of DCC/CDTFA Checklists/SOP Binders for inspection preparation
  • IT services to recommend and setup network, point-of-sale, back-of-house and security systems
  • Hiring/Traning of Store Manager

Milestone 5 – Pre-Opening/Launch

  • Creation of Website, Social Media Accounts, Google/Yelp Business Pages, Weedmaps Account
  • Creation of all print media (Signage, Flyers, Business Cards, Ephemera)
  • Creation of training handbook and employee positions
  • Hiring & Training of Staff
  • Grand opening advertising campaign creation and deployment

Milestone 6 – Launch/Grand Opening

  • Attendance and analysis of grand opening day/event
  • Monitoring of feedback channels (Yelp/Google Reviews/Exit Survey)
  • CDPH/DCC/CDTFA inspection preparation analysis and practice run
  • Analysis of security systems/camera logs
  • Recomendations based on above analysis
